EPPOVHA ORGANISATON is a national NGO established in 1997 to eliminate violence and address the impact of AIDS through peace education, violence prevention and peaceful conflict resolution, advocacy and HIV/AIDS prevention. It works through structured activities in school and the community. It was legally registered in 1999 with the national NGO Board on number S. 5914/2666. It is also a member of the Gulu District NGO Forum.

GULU DISTRICT LOCAL GOVERNMENT is the final overseer of EPPOVHA ORGANISATION and monitors its activities.

EPPOVHA Organisation works through and with structures in the communities to attain its goal. Schools and institutions in Gulu District have been encouraged to form and manage peace clubs for the promotion of peace building through enhanced peaceful co-existence among peace club members and school communities at large.
